Club Innovation Award for Junior Athletics
The club has won another award, Club of the Year (in the South of England) in Club Innovation from UK Athletics. This was for the way that the club demonstrates Innovation and Initiative in delivery of athletics at it's chosen level and to it's chosen audience/community.



 Clubmark Award for Athletics Christine Benning, AAA of England Regional Development Co-ordinator for the South Region, presented the Clubmark award to Team Kennet on 11 February 2004.Clubmark, a cross-sport quality kitemark, has been developed within athletics as an extension of UK Athletics ’ successful clubs: future initiative. Team Kennet is the first club in the South Region to achieve this award and one of only nine athletics clubs nationally, joining Biggleswade, Notts AC, Macclesfield Harriers, Kingston-Upon-Hull AC, Preston Harriers, Steyning AC, Gateshead Harriers and Wirral AC.
